Double Protection with Injection Molded Polycarbonate Panels
The Ribtect 3 Rib Protection Vest is an upgraded version of the Ribtect 2 Vest. The design is new and exciting and it features a new and improved outer panel construction that is stronger, longer lasting. The formed R3 Panel is a injection molded "polycarbonate' material that is made to flex around the driver for better protection and comfort. The horizontal slats disperse shock and energy. Additionally, the new tooled panels act as a "solid" piece to further disperse shock and energy. The panels are less than 1/8 of inch thick. The impact absorbing foam and the increased overall quality of the Ribtect 3 vest are already creating a buzz throughout the karting industry.
Keeps You Safe and In The Seat Longer
All the products in the Ribtect family are designed specifically for the kart racer and their protection needs. Striving to provide karters with the best protection available while staying within their budgetary needs, the original Ribtect Vest, the carbon fiber Ribtect 2 Vest and now the injection molded "polycarbonate' Ribtect 3 Vest offer top quality rib protection at different tiers of pricing levels. Using the new thinner impact absorbing foam along with other upgraded materials have drastically improved the overall quality of the Original Ribtect Vest, the Ribtect 2 Vest, and the new Ribtect 3 Vest.

Hear What Our Customers Say
"When I first contacted Robbie about a vest, I was immediately helped
with acquiring the proper size, which turned out to be a perfect fit!
The Ribtech 3 has always performed it's function well, leaving me
without sore ribs at the end of the karting day. But just this last
weekend, the vest outperformed even the highest of standards!
Thanks so much to Robbie Mott as well as the entire staff at Ribtech
for creating a product that is so highly reliable, comfortable and
safe. I have just returned home from running of the RoboPong 200 and
have found that my Ribtech 3 vest undoubtedly saved me from personal
injury as well as a DNF. Toward the end of the race about 150 miles
into it, the right side seat struts broke pushing the mounting bolts
through the seat and into my vest. The bolt heads completely
punctured my suit, wearing away two holes about the size of half
dollars. Inspection of the Ribtech vest showed a great deal of wear
and distortion on the side panel of the vest, but no indications of
the problem were found on me personally. The vest performed
flawlessly in conditions far exceeding it's original intent. Thanks
to the vest, I am home, pain free and was able to successfully
complete the 200! Thanks Ribtech – Great Product!"
