ROBBY MOTT WINS AT THE FLORIDA WINTER TOUR 2010 WITH RIBTECT CARBON SEAT!
Around October of 2009 I received a call from Paul LaLonde from Canada asking if I would be interested in racing for him at the Florida Winter Tour the following season. After considering this for 3 seconds I agreed. I had not taken a green flag for 6 years at this point. The first thing I knew I had to do was get in the gym right away. I had about 25 pounds to lose and about 3 months to do it. Paul shipped me his Corsa CH-14 chassis equipped with a Rotax package so that I could begin my track testing. I mounted a Ribtect carbon seat as close to factory specs as possible and prepped the kart for testing.

RIBTECT2 RIB PROTECTOR
We are working on our newest product, Ribtect2 Rib Protector. This new and improved product features a formed panel of carbon fiber on the outside of the vest adding much more protection. The panel is very thin and conforms to the body very nicely.

This vest will retail at $199.00. We are hoping to have this new product readily available, early in the 2006 season.

"Finally had a chance to try out your seat and it is fantastic. I went to a shifter school and drove a kart with a Tillet, and I cracked my ribs by the end of the day. The 125 shifters are just so much more violent than a 100cc. Two months of recovery later I drove my cart at Moran with the seat you installed and it was like being in a Lay-z-Boy recliner but pulling 3gs - Super comfortable and no pain! The seat design also helped with the Brembos I'm running; during very heavy braking, my body just wanted to launch itself out of the kart, but the Ribtect held me in. The seat helped me concentrate on the track, braking and shifting instead of squirming for comfort. Everyone at the track thought it was the hottest looking seat out there as well. I sent them all your way.

CUSTOMER PROOF OF THE CHEST PROTECTOR SAFETY
"I wanted to thank you and let you know your product helped one of my drivers this weekend, Cody's teammate Mikey Womack was in a crash this weekend at the IKF region 7 race at Willow Springs. Mikey crashed in the main event when another competitor spun out right in front of him leaving him no where to go but into the other kart when Mikey got back to the pits he complained of a little chest pain but nothing serious upon inspecting the karts it was determined that the frame, spindle and ty rod were bent as well as the steering shaft and the way the shaft was bent was consist with with a major impact from the drivers chest. Even with all the damage to the kart Mikey was playing in the pits five minutes later and we thank god Mikey had on the chest protector because if not we could have been going to the hospital five minutes later instead.
